Norton Neo is Gen Digital's free AI-native browser, marketed as "the world's first safe AI-native browser." Built on Chromium, it layers Norton's WebShield threat intelligence on top for real-time phishing and malware protection using AI-driven behavioral analysis. The browser is completely free with no subscription required for core features.

The AI integration runs deep. The Magic Box unifies search, AI chat, and browser commands in a single bar that intelligently routes queries to the right tool. Peek and Summary generates AI previews of pages before you click, and smart tab management automatically groups tabs by topic or project. A configurable memory system lets you control what the AI remembers about you, and simple tasks like page summaries run locally on-device for privacy.

Norton Neo supports Chrome extensions via the Chrome Web Store and offers vertical tabs, built-in ad/tracker blocking, and a password manager.
