Strawberry

Strawberry isn’t trying to be a faster Chrome or a more private Firefox. It is a Chromium browser built around AI companions: assistants that work in your own tabs, with the logins and tools you already use. You can hire ready-made ones, such as a sales companion for lead research or a recruiting companion, or create your own. They click, scroll, fill in forms and pull information from pages, and they connect to more than 100 apps, including Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot and Salesforce.

The idea is delegation rather than browsing. You describe a goal in plain words, such as building a lead list in a spreadsheet or drafting replies, and a companion carries it out. Routines repeat that work on a schedule or when something happens in your apps, and companions remember people, projects and preferences across chats. Strawberry can also record and transcribe meetings without a bot joining the call. You decide, per app and per action, what a companion may do without asking, so routine steps can run on their own while anything that matters waits for your approval.

Version 1.0 arrived in October 2026, and the product is still changing quickly. Ordinary browsing is free, Chrome extensions work, and your bookmarks and passwords import from Chrome. The catch is cost: the AI runs on credits, the free plan includes 500 a month, and heavy use can push you toward the $85 or $250 plans. If most browsers help you consume the web, Strawberry is built to do work on it for you.
